It is definitely a way of living which comprises of accepting your body and its true potential to the peak. Yoga is known to heal many diseases by opening up the cosmic-nerves which in turn helps traveling cosmic rays to clean the blockages. Classical Type Yoga
The ancient Indian Practice of Yoga has been modified by many people in their own fashion translating it to their own benefits. This type of Yoga deals with ancient Yogic Practice.
Hatha-Yoga means to bring balance of sun and moon in you. It is process through which different postures one is able to create prospects for higher Energies. Hatha-Yoga prepares body for the cosmic energy. If somehow you are able to get attuned to higher energies you require your vessel to be strong enough to be able to capture it. It is important to practice classical type of Yoga, much of commercialization of it has ruined its power.
Also known as ‘Laya’ Kundalini yoga deals much with Shaivism, Shaktism and Tantra. It incorporates different types of chanting, postures, meditation and breathing techniques. It deals with awakening or raising the Kundalini which in-turn increases clairvoyance, sixth-sense and ability to be in harmony with the universe/nature/God. It is used to uplift spiritual activities and known as fusing the finite with the infinite.
New Age Yoga
This type of practice is more urban and suited to urban needs from many new-age yoga practitioner around the world. It is more commercial and focuses indirectly.
Also known as Ashtang Vinayasa Yoga, the Sanskrit word Vinyāsa refers to transition of matter from two different positions. Ashtanga means eight limbs or branches it involves different types of breathing and posture exercise and known to increase eye-sight and focus.
This type of system was synthesized from Hatha Yoga by Bikram Choudhury in 1971. It is one of the most commercialized and popularly suiting to urban lifestyle. It is also known as Hot Yoga style and is practiced in a room heated to 40 C with humidity of 40%.
This type of yoga is practiced by pregnant women who use simple exercises like walking, meditation and postures. This type of Yoga helps prepare women for child-birth and decreases labor pain and stay fit and healthy.
